Middle school is the place where social interaction meets rigorous curriculum. Teachers in the middle school teach their specialty: Math, Language Arts, Science, and Social Studies. These teachers work to develop the physical, emotional, social, and intellectual aspects of each child.
Fifth grade is pre-middle school These students transition into middle school life through the added responsibilities of changing some classes and working with more than one teacher.
