Parent Teacher League (PTL)
What is PTL?
Our mission is to be a committee of parents, teachers and staff members with Gethsemane’s children at heart that comes together for creative brainstorming discussions. We seek to develop and put into action ideas in areas of fundraising, building community, enhancing communication and utilizing volunteers to positively impact, promote and support Gethsemane School’s mission and goals.
When do we meet?
PTL meets the first Thursday of each month at 6:30 pm. Your children are welcome to attend; we have activities and snacks available for all ages! Everyone is welcome and encouraged to attend!
Why do we need a PTL?
We need a PTL to make a difference in our school. Parents have made a different choice in sending their children to Gethsemane School. Teachers are here because they choose to make a difference in the lives of our children. PTL members create a school-supported committee that brings parents and teachers together for a collective voice to build a solid structure at Gethsemane that encourages parents, teachers and staff to teach our children to make a difference in our world.
How do we accomplish our goals?
