Senior Housing Overview
The
Gethsemane Faith Community is eagerly looking forward to the synergy of
an intergenerational presence which would not only include the school
children, members and guests of the church, but also seniors living on
the Gethsemane campus.
The proposed project will include graduated care under one umbrella organization that will be a non-profit partnership of Gethsemane and Presbyterian Homes of Minnesota.
The levels of care will include independent living, assisted living, and a smaller number of memory care units.
All units will be rental rather than cooperative or full ownership.
According to Gethsemane’s constitution, one purpose of this faith community is to “Serve in response to God’s love to meet human needs, caring for the sick and the aged, advocating dignity and justice for all people…”
Asking for God’s help and strength, we provide a setting that cares for the physical, social, and religious needs of our residents with the goal of contributing to their wellness and joy of life.
With God’s leading, we endeavor to sponsor, encourage, promote, advance, and assist with the provision and improvement of housing health care, medical care, and related services of every kind to elderly persons and handicapped persons.
